Think we had over 150 shorts. Ended up with 7 legals and a gigantic spider! (Released)

Doesn't matter what month it is, it isn't about being cold but staying dry IMO. No fun hoopin soaking wet. To each there own though. Did you keep the big spider ? herd they are good eating but never ate one myself.

I agree, being dry is always best. It was warm last night though.

We let the big guy go. Actually had three nice spiders in one hoop.

FFS the dude is in a t-shirt, proly wearing shorts and he got a little wet boo-hoo...Monterey Buoy has the seas at 19 ft. and the wind 27 knots as I post...guess we aren't going crabbing tomorrow .
