| PL Kelp 2/24
Nice day, shot outside since there is sooooOOO much floating debris in the bay. Couple of Bass but I did bring the biggest Ling I've had on to the surface, wayyy over 30, I've caught em up to 36 and this one was bigger and heavier. Hit a 12 inch smelt/fishtrap. I was testing out the SH50 and it worked great! Here's the bad part.
Dad, grab the gaff..what gaff? Dad, grab the net....what net? Oh well it would have went back anyway ....booohoo dratted closures.
SOB neither! Both sitting in the garage, tried to tail grab it and it would have none of that. took off and wrapped a kelp. We tried until I busted it off.
Oh well! water was decent outside, pretty much a lake till noon. Wasn't going to go outside in a 12 footer but the conditions were just right Hell I probably coulda done the 9 today if back by noon

Yes I know about the net thing . Was supposed to be a skiff shakedown run that went awry
Jim ya it rocked! Throws nice.
Boat ran awesome, that 9.9 can scoot. I had it to 20 mph on the gps with 2 guys. We'll see how it does with the bait tank I got from BigBudman.

Newer Nissan from Smah. First pull starter. This will double as a kicker on the new rig

Right on Kurt... good that you could be fishing out there with your pops.
I wish my dad has the energy to fish. He just waits at home for us to bring the catch and fish stories... |
