Cabrillo Beach: Open 24/7

We have beautiful large anchovies and medium size sardines on the menu. The phone number for the San Pedro barge is 310-365-2516.

Newport Bait barge: Open 24/7 .

We have medium size anchovies and medium size sardines. We also have a limited amount of cured sardines upon request. The phone number off of Newport Bait Co's website is not a valid number for the barge any longer. The new phone number is 310-461-5370. DC# is 124*68731*2 and website adress is www.newportbaitbarge.blogspot.com

Hey San Pedro Bait,

I was at the Newport barge yesterday mid morning and he said he had no sardines, but the report yesterday and today says he has them. I even asked if he had sardines (or squid). Do I need a password or something?

No password needed..................I update this from my pc, which is not on the barge, usually once a day in the morning, with the date included. That particular day, we had anchovies, but ran out. Every once in a while I go fishing and I am not able to update this information. For the exact details call the barge direct. I have provided phone numbers in the original post and they are on our websites as well. Thanks for your support!

Anyone notice how little of bait you get now at the Mission Bay, since Bill has passed? We bought a scoop the other day, and it was maybe 1/2 scoop. It bet we only got about a total of 40-50 pieces, and most of it was anchovy.

I checked on this a while back and was told that it was too hard for them to keep at the recievers so they just dont.

We need a boat to make it and sell it out by the point kinda like back in the day.

Can someone give me the gps #s for bait outa H.B. harbor? If i am not mistaken i thought the only place to get bait was straight out from Cabrillo. Or maybe i can hail on a VHF channel to a nearby bait boat. Thanks,
Bob
