12-3-08 Catalina Island report aboard the Pursuit

I've been really busy, so I haven't had a chance to do much fishing. I made the best of my free time and went fishing 2 days in a roll. The first day was spent freshwater fishing at LNL and today was spent on the Pursuit doing the saltwater thing. I took advantage of the $45 dollar Wednesday promotion, which they are currently running. For those that don't know I think it's a great deal. The cost is only $45 to fish Catalina Island aboard the Pursuit every Wednesday. Fishing wasn't great nor slow, but somewhere in between.

Did a little bit of rock fishing also. Nice double on the first drop. Too bad the limit is only one per person, but nice fish anyways Charlie.

Some nice reds were caught also.

The day started out nice and flat.

It ended beautifully, making for a nice crossing home. It seems like everyone had some fish to take home. Another great trip aboard the Pursuit. Thanks for reading and goodluck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.

That's a better way to spend a wednesday then the way I did. Work really gets in the way of my fishing.

nice report. I've been waiting to see if the squid is going to show up, but even so, the water temp is getting down there. Looks like the yellows have taken off.

I remember the first time I fished the Pursuit...Tripped out on the numbering system...They don't do that up here! Anyway...we killed the freakin forkies that day!

Looks like Stellar weather and a relatively light load....not to shabby with a decent bite and a discount to boot!
