Way to show the parents who really does the fishing!!! What bait/lure type? What kind of set-up? Was it all the way down at the bottom or midwater?
I've always wanted to try that reef, now there's some good proof that it's holding some monsters! You better get that bad boy mounted!!
Congratulations!!! GOOD JOB DAVID!

Everyone is requesting what my son used to catch this fish. So here you go fellow anglers. They were using Squid... They were only cutting half the body off, leaving half the body and eyes/tenticles. My husband and son were fishing completely to the bottem, and then loosened their lines more to allow the current to leave the bait on the bottem of the ocean floor. Despite the bad whether, they caught their limit with huge sand bass and of course the new trophy fish my son caught.
"IT IS CONFIRMED AS OF 7:40 A.M. THIS MORNING, IT'S THE NEW SAND BASS RECORD!!!!!!!!!"
Congratulations Son, I love you....
