Dana Laguna 10-16-08 -and "good radio" fish talk off shore.

For what it worth.

Fished local today..nothing to exciting to report. Released a pup mako under a HUGE paddy that was loaded with bait and sitting birds. Thats about it for me...

BUT the water is really warm. SST's from a day ago are way off.

68.5 just 4 miles off Lagauna, and 67 in close. The water was like a lake today, no wind...and you could see Catalina hiding behind a small fog bank.

The water was off blue with some green, and SUPER clear.

The radio fish were on the 43 in 67-68 degree water. A few private boaters found the Yellow Fin Tuna willing to bite under the mammals. Sounds like they did really well. Mid afternoon bite, all on bait.

They did mentions some thick fog, around the 181 and 182. But once you found the other side, sunny skies, and lake like conditions....

Might be worth the long run this weekend.
