picture posting

Mark, either download the digital pic from your camera or scan the regular photograph. Save it as a jpeg file (if you download from a digital camera this will be done automatically). Once the photo file is on your computer, try to remember its location ( ie. desktop, C-drive, ect). Type your post then look down below the white box----click on browse.

a pop-up window will appear asking you basically what file you want to attach....click on the saved jpeg file (your picture) twice and it will attach to your post (you'll see the html location in the white browse window). That should be it.

Always have the slider come straight to the hook. I have the tag end stick out a little so that the slider "slides" free upon casting and doesnt get "stuck" on the hook (if you know what i mean). If you absolutely have to use a leader, tie the two lines together with a bimini or albright.

Now to the Longer Version -

Had to go to a Christening for my baby cousin on sat. and decided "what the hell i might as well fish since im down here." Spent the night at the relatives and woke up at 4:00 am expecting to be at the landing in a half hour. I jump on the 8 and make it to ilandia by 4:11!! Sat on my ass till the office opened up at 5:30 and found out that I didnt even have to be an early bird to get a decent spot cuz the boat doesnt have assigned #s. gunz (i think to make it similar to overnight boats). Next time im sleepin in....

We depart with 22 peeps at 6:35am to find that the boat is fueled and already baited up and on our way to the 'pile.

"The overnight boats have already loaded up as of early this morning" says the capt'n over the intercom.

But will they still be biting when we arrive?? That was the BIG question everyone was wondering; and we had all of 3 1/2 hours before we found out.

We stopped just short of the armada ( a homogenous mix of party boaters/ privates/ pangeros/ and one guy on JETSKI ) Right off the bat i hear some comotion in the bow. "someones on" a guy yells. I look... and see a big ol red come on deck . Hopes were diminishing pretty fast as we saw that no one was on fish at this point. Everyone was doing their thing ... changing baits, crankin the iron, dickin around when i felt my dine buggin out. I thumb the spool and connect! BINGO yours truly is on the first fish of the day!! Six others around me quickly follow suit. Went through three tangles before i deck the fish (its a jungle out there!!). Boat did 5 out of 6 fish that time... one lost on a LH curado. These type of bites came very sporadically throughout most of the day. To sum it all up i ended up gettin 4 fish (12, 14, 14, 17) with 4 being the high sstick today along with another guy who got four ( all on the iron). Came home tired but happy

I was going to go out on the Chubasco II on sat with fishing4life but Ernie the captain would not let both of us go since we are both pinheads and the boat was loaded, and travis called him so he went. I just ended up going to LJ on the Dolphin and I hooked one yellow that came unbuttoned and got some sandbass and a sheephead.

I almost got my mom to let me ditch today and go to the rock pile but she said "when your grades are all A's you can go fishing on a school day"gunz
