5/10 Rock Pile Y.t. Sheepshead, Cuda, rock fish

Went out with Midnight Rambler & Byeye

Started off this am at S.I. - Met wildcat & eye problem in the parking lot - You guys are way cool - Sean too!
Baja Bum & Jim thank you for the 3 beers I borrowed

Got to the bait doc about 5:15 to 5:30

Had several run ins with Miss Yoly, Boiler Maker,Dr. Fish & Baja Bum
Also saw fishin4life- He was working on the Chubaco (how ever spelt)

Headed down to the rockpile

On the way there we land the

First fish of the day was a Cuda- Fly lined denes -

Next fish for me was a beautifulllllll 10 lbs + Sheepshead - also fly line dene
Rock fish where in here also caught-

Action slows down - we head to the parking lot Called The Rock Pile,

We try the slow troll dene thing-
for Y.T. Nada-

Irons Nada-

Then A farmed Yellow Tail happened

Something to do with the prop

Shuteye is sleeping

We added rubber core 3/4 ounce weights to the denes- This helpd
About 1:00 we get our first Yellow Tail - Bryan

Double hook up - Me & Byeye- I win he looses - sorry byeye

My first Yellow Tail - I scream like a girl - Hold it like a freaking baby!!!

Then Byeye gets his First Y.T.

Brian hooks up again-

My last Y.T. is caught on one of byeye's 20 lbs rig's -
It worked me- Stupid Reel-

Fish totals:
6 Yellow tail - 4 of them 20lbs, 2 - 12lbs
2 Cuda's
1 HUGE Sheepshead
2 Rockfish

Shelly and all , it was good to meet you! I had a blast today as most out there did. it turned out so nice, we were in tee shirts too, after an ass kicking on the way out. Glad you hung in there, you didnt seem to pleased on the yellows early, but finally scored! Good day on the water with lots of good friends, see you next time.
