| 9-5 LJ Kelp YT
Went to the NW corner of the LJ kelp on Sun along with umteen bazillion other people. Hooked what felt like a large Yellowtail on a dine but came unbuttoned with rookie manning the rod. Trolled brown/silver fishtraps and picked up 10lb Yellowtail and 40" slimer (released). Many sea dogs out harassing anglers. When is the population of those bastages going to be checked? Commercial guys must be really hurting due to them.
I chunked bait to chum up a school trying to use up a bunch of surplus bait and a 500 lb dog came right up to the boat picking off the pieces as I tossed them overboard. I'm going shopping for a wrist rocket tomorrow.
