Three strikes and out on Mr T 5/12/08

Went thresher fishing solo out of O'side mon.A huge thanks to the guys on the whaler that passed me off some macks-and offered any assistence that I needed.
Anyhow first knockdown 5 min into it, mouthhooked, airborn twice and spits hook 15 min later.Probably 150lbs. The only other boat in eye sight (cool guys on the whaler) come by to check on me and they hookup-150+ landed.
Second knockdown fish goes straight down 28pounds drag and was like it was in freespool no stopping this one-strike two.
Third knockdown tail hooked fish and I battle for over an hour, I an almost at leader and the shark makes on last effort to get away and it did. By this time I am a LITTLE bit tired and not unhappy about killing one of these awesome animals.Yesterday they won-last year I did with a 200lb shark solo.I have the utmost repect for these creatures.
So no birthday T for me but I sure got A good spankin!!
JIM

It would have-happened so fast I didnt have time to back off the drag like I should have considering how much line was out
