After hearing about all the good bass fishing in the Bay I decided to get jr. up early(which can be tough) and give it a try. We fished some of the old spots I haven't been to in years and the bigger bass were defintely biting. We anchored up early and the fish showed right away, boiling on chum and tearing at the swimbaits. After 30 mins or so some really large fish started boiling, IMO these were school size cbass, often making a boil the size of a yellow. I hooked two of these nicer units on swimnaits and were quickly broken off on 25lb string. Unfortunately, a couple of guys in an aluminum boat with a kayak in it drove right over the boiling fishing and that was the last of the big fish boiling. I never did hook another big one but it didn't slow down the bass on the swimbaits. A ten fish limit on bass would have gone 50 to 60 lbs with bigger sandbass going over 7 lbs and the larger calicos over 5 lbs. A great day with my son and a ton of torn and destroyed swimbaits
