here's my "go to" night rifle.

6x47 (.222 rem mag necked up to 6mm) built by RSE Customs in 29 Palms. Mini Mark X action, Lajila Match Grade barrel. Custom carved stock, bedded, blue printed, blah blah...

Hey Sneekee. Is that the NEF Survivor or the Varmint Special Fluted? I love those NEF single shots. Heard the Varmint/Fluted had a short barrel life though. The NEF Survivor in .308 is on the top of my "go buy this next" list.

the 6x47 is topped with a Nikon Monarch illuminated reticle, and the CZ is topped with a Mueller illuminated. I'm not happy with the Mueller, so a Bushnell 4200 is going on the CZ next week.

Killed more critters than all my other rifles combined for a season. I highly recommend any savage for out of the box accuracy and price.

Here's mine. Nothing fancy, just a Savage 12FV in .22-250. I put a Bell & Carlson stock, a Bushnell Elite 5x15, and a Harris bipod on it. Other than that it's how it came from the factory. Accuracy is outstanding.
