I was wondering about this the other day Mike. Do they say if they will still hunt at Sutherland due to the fires? I guess they are still seeing Turkey, but not sure if they want to put that pressure on them.......

Arnie, are you seeing a lot up there? I went for a drive the other day and it was the first time I've been up thru the whole area since the fires. I saw a few.
I seen a bunch during Archery season.

By casual observation they seemed to have survived pretty good.
If so this should be a good year, plenty of water holes because of the rain which usually keeps them spread out and off the private land ponds. Also it will be much easier to bush brush with the big stuff gone and the grasses are already back.
The quail seemed to take it pretty hard though, some of my old areas are still barren.

I tried putting my son and daughter into sports but they didn't want to. My son loves to hunt and fish so I'm spoiled!!
