Anybody doing Wister this weekend?

Anybody doing Wister? I called somewhere betwen 15 and 20 guys that ive hunted with and NOBODY is hunting, Except 2 of them are in Sac. Anyways Looking for somebody to hunt with. Actually hunting alone doesnt bother me but its nice to have company around in the evenings (you know talking to yourself only is fun for a little while, then people start to point at you). If anybody is hitting it let me know. leaving work at 6 probably out of santee about 7.

Or if you see me down tehre stop and say Hi. I have the White tacoma thats in the middle of being camoed (the back half is done, cab and such is still white). Im sure you cant mistake my truck for anybody elses.

I put in for every wed and sat for the year and have yet to get drawn

i put in for wed sat and sunday and got a 98 4 weeks ago. thats it. MEanwhile onme of my buddies has had i think 7 draws now, 3 on wednesdays.

7 wow that got to be record.
so far i have 4 this season and thats a record for me. hunted 313c1 wed for limits of mostly big ducks and a snow goose.
bring lots of decoys

Kinda slow at Wister on Sunday, around our blind anyway. We ended up with nine ducks and one snow. Fun day though.

we killed limits on saturday of ducks. Saw a honker about 60yrds out in front of us, just cruising no more than 15-20 yrds high. Just too far to shoot at him IMO.

Anyways we both got our sprig, mine was pretty nice. Rest of the limits included 2 gw, 1 cinni, 2 spoonies , I wigeon, and the rest Gadwall. only hens were 1 gaddy and the Cinn.

sunday we just slept in then shot some doves and hunted my pond for nothing(except a hen Can that some hawks had killed right before we got there).

Ill be back next weekend. Felt good to kill some more after a 2 week break.

On a side note,

SBE II+PatternMaster+Hevi-Steel= DEAD ducks. Not Cripples, DEAD.
