You have TWO 870 Super Mags??
My opnion is that you don't need 3 1/2's...
But that's just an opinion.
My 870 Express kills every kind of game bird and water fowl just fine.

Benelli's are the way in pump theres the nova for some what a cheap price but if your willing to put in the money get a superblack eagle 2. They shot great easy to clean/maintain and are a freaking awsome gun.

My 870's always consume any load... With my 870's, if it flies, it dies.... The only way an 870 will jam is:
1-Have a hull split and it gets stuck in the chamber
2-Short Shuck it because you are excited
3-You don't fully insert a shell into the magazine and it releases the shell underneath the bolt with the action closed....
4- If its got 50,000 rounds through it the shell catch may need to be replaced....
5- Shitty import ammo
The 870 is one of the most proven pump designs... Now if its not feeding correctly from the magazine and you have a new gun.. PM me for the solution it costs $20.. The pumps are the most reliable 3.5" guns..

How did you jam an 870? There is a reason why grizzly bear guides in Alaska and inner city cops trust their lives to those shotguns. They are exrtrememly reliable. Please elaborate.

If you really must shoot 3.5's then get one of the following.
CTI-105
SX3
SBEII
Xtrema II
In no particular order.
Find the one that points the best for you. Buy it. Pattern it. Kill birds.

thanks for all the input, yes i have 2 870 super magnums ,the same birthday i bought one for myself my dad bought me him and my bro all camo ones so i scored big time. the one i bought myself was a used one that was absolutely awesome until last week and this week probably just needs to be cleaned i guess. the other one my dad bought me was new from turners and had problems from day one with that P.O.S. it was getting dove loads jammed up on mine and my bros gun the whole first season so i only shot my used one the last four seasons and used the new one as a back up, i have shot only 870's my whole hunting life (12 years) and loved the reliability of them but i think that shooting only 3.5 inch shells the last 2 duck seasons(and i go alot) is too much for them. the way they were getting stuck was the shell would stay lodged in the barrel after the shot and i would have to shove it out with a stick through the front of the barrel like a muzzleloader, on my newer one i tried slamming the butt of the gun on the ground and that opened the chamber but the shell was still in the barrel and the metal edge that the lever pulls the shell out by would just rip a hole in the metal part of the shell, i wasa using only remington fast steel and federal ammunition but usually shoot kent's so i don't think that's bad ammo right?
Smudge , i agree with you that i dont need 3.5 inchers to kill birds but i have seen me kill more birds with one shot instead of crippling them if they are a little out there and 2 years ago i tripled on mallards twice in one day and killed a coyote we scared out of a ditch while jumping ducks with those loads and so i'm a big fan of them. also i hunt wister alot so some kent 3.5 inch #2 or #1 are a great loads to kill ducks or snows with instead of switching my 2 3/4 for 3 inchers for geese when they started flying as i used to with my old 870. plus i like having as much firepower as possible, it must be my little man syndrome kickin in again, oh wait i weigh 315 guess i just love to destroy birds
i'm going to bass pro shops on tuesday to look at the different autoloaders that are out there, also i live in cypress do yall know where i could go have my guns fixed at around here?
Look for 2 870 super mags in black and camo coming soon to the classifieds
thanks for all the input and recommendations, does anyone actually own a SBEII, if so what r your thoughts

Try a different brand of shells. On my shotgun, I've noticed that the Remington shells tend to jam much easier than the Winchester ones.

Have you upgraded the mag follower in either of those guns?? Recently in those guns remington switched the follower from metal to plastic.. Other than the shells getting stuck in the chamber... The feeding issues could be from this...
