Waders - Do they fit?

Just got my new Cabelas waders. I wear a size 10 shoe and I ordered size 10 waders. These things feel like they are two sizes too big. Are they supposed to fit that loose?

According to Fresh One, I'm a duck geek. I'm hooked.

Yes they are supposed to feel big. Get some mud straps for them to keep them from falling off in the mud. I wear a pretty thick pair of socks with them also.

Buy these they'll really help:

Re: Waders - Do they fit?

I believe they are big so you can wear insulated socks or place heat packs in them. Mine were a bit big and that is what I was told. not 2 sizes but big enough.

Thanks. And, maybe big enough so you can slip out of them if you are drowning, kinda like the deckhand boots are supposed to be worn, too big.

Yes, they are supposed to be big. Thick wool socks with liners and you are golden. They don't fit like a hunting boot.

You are past geek. You are officially a duck dork.

Duck Dork....

Loose!!

Tight or even normal fit will equal frozen feet at Barrett in a few weeks. Marcus froze to his chair last season in Jan. Pretty funny watching him try to stand up and shoot a duck with a chair stuck to his ass. I think it was 14F when we got there that morning....
