Hey speedgoat the only coyote I saw was the leader guiding the illegals through the hills. One guy would tell the group where to go and he would hang back for a bit,the group would go a couple hundred yards then stop and wait for the leader to catch up and repeat the process over again. Its a preety fucked up feeling knowing that this shit probally happens every night.

Try not to blame the Border Patrol as they are way understaffed and extremely underpowered if you ask me. Your very own Gov. refused the Presidents order to put a certain # of National Guard troops on the border (not that that is the answer) to help. Yes there are slackers but if you had to go to work with your hands tied behind your back every day you would get burnt out too. Same shit going on in Iraq IMO. I did the same thing one night heading down the grade when a U-haul pulled to the shoulder in front of me and I counted 26 jumping in. I followed them almost to the Salton Sea before the CHP took over! Anyway, good job! I say BUILD THE FENCE NOW!!!

Thanks for the back-up guys....

Yes, it is a staffing problem....
Yes, it is a #'s problem.....
Yes, There already is a fence more or less in that area they are crossing.....

That is my patrol area, and my buddies working there. Yes, there are slackers, as was said, but we have some of the most hard charging guys you will find. Hard to catch a group of 20 when you have another 2 or 3 groups of 20 already in custody.......

Anyway, nice job on spotting the deer and the group. If you could have ID'd the guy guiding to the agents and he got caught, he could have had about 2 years to sit in a cell and think about it..... .

Re: Hiking 2/8 .....deer and illegals

The fence, albeit improved somewhat over the last few years, is a total joke. There are lots of places where the fence just stops to cross a canyon or go over a rocky spot. Then it starts again 50-100 yards later. Sometimes a 1/2 mile later. There are also plenty of spots where the fence crosses a low spot and there is a 2 foot gap underneath it. Literally ,the fence is pretty much laughable. It does nothing except maybe concentrate where the illegals cross. Maybe that is the point? I think we need a pirahna and alligator infested moat.

Come on Nate. Alligator and pirahna infested moat? You'd just be providing a food source and an extra water stop along the way!

No wonder you guys can't stop them...fuckin' pussies!

I was actually referring to the new two stage fences that our President signed the Bill to fund. But I guess if there are no funds...welcome my fellow citizens! It's all about the vote and no one wanting to rock the boat.

Not to worry, once everyone middle class is paying 1000 a month for health insurance the lights will come on.
