They do this purely out of jelous resentment since they can't entertain themselves as well as we can.

My wife has a mother and older sister that rule the roost. They are the Alpha females of the household and thier husbands have pretty much no say in anything. That shit don't fly in my world. I have to frequently engage in covert operations to keep them from spending too much time with my wife and poisoning her brain. Especially when my wife is in a vulnerable state. Like when I'm 1000+ miles away having fun while she is lonely at home. That gets dangerous.

Yes, keep them seperate. A scorned woman is a very scary thing. Scorned women together is what nightmares are made of.
"That shit don't fly in my world". Yeah yeah, your time is comin' buddy. Trust me.

OT, you are right. Bad idea on my part.

Its a great idea. My wife thinks I hunt more than anyone in the world. If I can get her around a couple of other BD wives, I may come out looking pretty good and get some slack Not likely but I can dream.

Do I have the only wife who thinks "hanging out" is a hobbie?

Nope, I got one too.

And the LAST thing I want her to do is take up hunting with me as a hobby. I mean, it would be cool to take your wife hunting once in a while as a novelty but hunting is an escape for me and I kind of enjoy the time by myself or with buddies. I see my wife plenty of time the rest of the days of the year.

Now I can't wait until my kids reach hunting age. I'll be all over taking them.

Wish Cuyamaca was Federal land. It's chock full turkeys. I see between a dozen and 30 everytime I go trout fishing up there...
We used to hunt at Eagle Peak up there. Before the season, turkeys everywhere. Season begins, turkeys leave town!

She had turkeys growing up on the farm as "pets", hates them. I took her out calling one morning. She had enough of that, she told me I could kill all the damn turkeys for all she cared. Heck, she kicks me out of bed to go kill turkeys during the season. She's a good woman.

She would rather just fish. I can handle it. She doesn't like seeing them get gaffed in the head though. I can live with that, too.

Re: Local turkey hunters

Lol
I was my dads son.
So, hopefully my husband (not married) will be able to handle a huntin' partner. I understand "hanging out". Everyone needs a break. Its all good.
