OK you bitches, I posted all last year about various 3d shoots in SD. I know there are some bowhunters here and this is the best way to stay polished in the off season. Only Baja Driver took me up on the offer last year and joined our usual crowd of Fresh One and One Track. Baja Driver even kicked some ass too. Shoots are back up and running with Balboa Park on the 1st Sun of the month and Escondido on the 4th Sunday.

I'd love to see a crew of guys make some of these shoots. It's low key, no one cares about your score, its cheap, really fun, and best of all it's great practice. For the uninitiated, it's kinda like golf but with 3d foam animal targets. There are 28 (sometimes 42 for the big shoots) targets and you receive a score based on how close your arrow is to the center of the vitals. Categories are made up of age groups, gender, and equipment type to keep it fair. This is great fun for kids. One Track usually brings his little girls and they kick some butt.
Plan is to meet at the Bear State range in Escondido this Sunday about 8:15 am at the latest. There will probably (hopefully) be too many of us to all shoot in one group, but if we register early enough we can get successive target assignments so we'll be close enough to BS and hassle each other.
