Re: Time for predator hunting!

I have the FX4 and it works fine. I like the remote, especially out here in the West. You just never know what might come walking in.
I also have "Jack in the Box" decoy. You can plug the decoy into the Foxpro caller and run them both with the remote.
I had a Extreme Dimension caller that was corded. What a nightmare. No matter how you un-rolled the cord, it always got caught on brush, branches and was always tangled. The sound was adequate but after hearing the Foxpro, it was like night and day.

Hope this helps.

That pretty much confirms my suspicions about a caller that uses a cord. It seems like that would be a major hassle if you want to set up the caller at a distance from your stand.

Re: Time for predator hunting!

I've got a Ruger MKII Varmint in .22-250 that'll shoot better than .4 MOA (it will, .4 is the best I've done...) that needs to draw some blood too. Where's a decent spot for a rookie dog shooter to start?

Thanks,

Mark

I hunt in the imperial valley for coyote. How I hunt down there is just go were the fields meet the dezz. Camo up and start calling. If nothing comes in about 15 or 20 min. just get up and move down a mile and start over. Make it a point to get away from the truck.
