Re: Wild Turkey Question

Shit! I was in Alpine working today and right behind me I here a turkey gobble and turn around and there 10 of em. They just sat there for about 5 minute watching me but my camera was in my truck at the top of the driveway so no pics.

However on my way home in my neighbors field I saw a coyote working and looked over to see him to his version of sheepherding on these guys

Don't use the word T.U.R.K.E.Y.S. in your pics description because the board inserts turkeys in it and fucks up pasting the pics to your post...30 minutes to load thes pictures:104167739

Bernie! Hold off on the butterball. Sean, your as big a ho as I am and are right up front about it. I’ve go the boat and fuel, you’re a Pittsburg fan so I know you can chum, so there is got to be a deal here somewhere.

Ali you can kill a bite in the best big game fishery in the world so you’re out of the game. Spring turkeys followed up by an early season tuna bite sounds like a good deal to me. Mike, sorry you forgot how to suck ……..

Yeah, so your going to get rid of your stink? Not smoking pot for 90 days is the only way you'll get rid of your stink. It's not gonna happen......

Me catching 3 300# cows with your tackle is more likely to happen next fall. Wanna lend me some fishing equipment?

My point was not to take shots at George, although easy and fun.... The fun aspect of turkey hunting is learning to call the birds. If you want to kill one get a high power rifle and do it. No skill or thrill. If you want to learn to hunt turkeys get out there and listen to them now, they can be called in 365 days a year. It is how I learned. Heck I missed 5 or 6 gobblers with the bow before George got to Ohio, and I was using my mouth to call them in, no calls needed. They are a lot of damn fun.

Hey George, I'll be sitting in the best damn duck blind in Tennesse tomorrow after I go rifle hunting for deer. 300 acres of milo and my blind stuck right in the middle.......nice.
