| Laws on killing coyotes?
There was a big coyote howling outside my bedroom window this morning. Snapped me right awake. I banged on the window and shouted at him. Those things are fast when the need to be. These things are eating everyone's cats and small dogs around here.
Can I shoot that fucker next time? Problem is my apartment complex is in a canyon. My place is way in the back next to a wall of the canyon, so I have a clear backdrop, but this is a residential area.
Is there something I can do that doesn't involve my .223?

A bow sounds like a good idea...but the thought of loaded up bd'rs spending the night at my apartment scares me more then the 'yotes

.22 with super colibris is as quiet as a pellet gun and deadly at close range. If a rabbit happened to be lying around dead in your back yard it's likely that a coyote would come along and try to eat it. Especially if someone were practicing their predator call in the area... in fact you can down load predator call .wav's for free, just point your speakers out the window...

.22 CB caps. No louder than a pellet gun. Light up the eyeballs with a flashlight and aim right in between. Works great in residential areas. Not that I would know or anything.
