I get to hunt my second season next weekend ,a little late in the Rut ,but have any of you rattled in Black Tails ??? late in the season

it all depends how long has the rut been going up there the eairlier in the rut the better but it should still work you probably will get mostly the you guys now if its late in the rut cause the big boys dominate the eairly and mid rut chasing away the youngsters... hell nothing to loose everything to gain,, good luck...

From what I've seen and read, it can work, but you shouldn't be as agressive as you would with whitetails. Just tickle the horns.
