Bruiser Yukon Bull
This bull was killed in the Yukon on 9-25. Elk were put in there in 1958 from Yellowstone Park . This was the first year they have been hunted. They drew for 15 permits.



The hunter is Al Klassen.
He's been a sheep guide in the Yukon and Northwest Territories and has personally guided over 100 Dall Ram kills.
Preliminary gross score... 451 5/8

That thing looks like he had an entire tumbleweed stuck to his head!! Incredible animal.

Knowing me, I'd have accidentally shot off an antler, then put two in the rump. Better you guys shot it than me!!!

When I killed my little ol' bull elk in Arizona, my guide made me pack out the antlers (WTF?).

I was more concerned about slipping and falling and having one of those points planted so deep in my ass it would have to be surgically removed. I was really careful so I did not smudge any of the ivory tips....
