Brent that is my 2nd one like that in two years if you remember the other one that was posted about 6-8 weeks ago that I got last year the real long shot. this one was maybe 20 lbs heaver and the rack was just a little thicker...Click the image to open in full size.

well Just had to show the young bucks that us old farts still can get it done, even though it gets harder every year to keep up. really enjoy seeing some of the young guys get it done it brings back the memorys of my first deer, however I was more fortunate than most growing up on a farm in wisconsin and shooting my first deer at 9 years old which isnt allowed now days, I think its a shame that they have to wait until 12. but I say congrats to these young dads taking the time out of their lives to teach the young guy the values and the finer points of hunting and fishing, dont stop...

Old guys rule!.....

my old man is 68 now and still kicks ass ! last year when i was recovering from back surgery he did more then just tow the line he pulled my lame ass around!

on my avatar is my dad circa 1980 on the coast of baja north of SQ. Tripple on pintail with a 870 bad ass then! bad ass now!

congrats on still having him around to enjoy,I just hit 64, I just found some of my old hunting pics 70's & 80's piles of ducks, (lead shot) thats why I wont give in to steel shot 400.00 for a barrel ( no tox) ITX & Bismuth.. my back surgery for the cancer still haunts my legs, but never say die is my moto, you only live once...Click the image to open in full size.
