Just got back from upstate NY...

and filled my tag on the second day of muzzleloader. He went about 160 dressed and just had a basket 6 point. Would have been a monster in a few years but too many hunting clubs around and I had to harvest him if I wanted venison to take home.Just got back from upstate NY...-rscn2206.jpg

I just got back from there too! You don't even have to go out hunting this time of year. There were deer darting everywhere and plenty alongside the freeways and roadside as road kill. It's amazing how many there are! Scary to drive at night and worry about running into one head on.

Great pic!
