I have a similar experience with coyote eating my dog. Kill that coyote, tan his hide and use it for your floor mat to clean your feet.

Thanks for the replys....the neighbors probably won't be a problem(I could give a shit anyhow). I am butted up against National Forest so I am fine on my shooting lanes. 12ga...maybe, CZ 550 Varmint .308...probably

My wife said she is skinning it- so I give her honors on this one. She is carrying the 1100 this AM while feeding the horse. First two- #4's and the last- OO's. I set up last night for a couple of hours with no sign, I never called but Lip sqeeked for stuff up close. I don't want to screw this up- had a couple of Sirens go by on a road with only dogs returning howls- no yotes. There habits lately have been early morning around sunrise(not that they stick to it).

broke my heart to read this. so sorry for your loss.
i also did not like small dogs till my wife brought home a 3 lb chihuahua that one of her customer's couldn't keep after they lost their house. that little guy has become a best friend, and i'd miss him sorely. death to that yote, worthless vermin.
