There is a lot of dispute on lead free bullets.. We drew tags here in California on a lead free unit so we had to do the switch… And well I think they do the job… Pops hit the deer in the chest at about 200 yd.. The bullet went through and almost out the ass… Mushroomed beautiful… He used a 3006 165 GR Federal Premium Vital-Shok by Barnes..

I think down here in San Diego County we can still use lead bullets. Only if you hunt in Ca. Condor range. Past L.A.? Still great bullets...
