Salton Sea quacker hunting
Hunted the public land on the Salton Sea on Weds. Had a decent amount of ducks flying until about 9am...took a break to eat lunch and work on some blinds, then got a few more shots in after lunch. The wind was full bore blowing from sunrise to noon...nice cool conditions... and the ducks liked to fly in it! Only ended up with 3 ducks... missed a bunch! I think the shells were mostly blanks! Lots of fun... shooting at those quackers! Should be a good season ahead... just the beginning!
