You are probably on to something with lowering draw weight given your ailment. I'd also make sure you are shooting an arrow with some weight to it (I'd go at least 400 gr+) and a sharp fixed blade head.
Yeah, I'm shooting @ 380 w/ 100gr fixed heads right now. Easy to change to 125gr heads.

You are probably going to have to anyway to spine those arrows down if you drop poundage.

I shoot an 82nd....its draw cycle is real harsh, its not a pleasant bow to shoot...but since I only paid $300 for it and i'm accurate with it , I cant complain.
