This Cougar print was very close to one of my spots.... Also a video of bowhunting carnage. (if you consider shooting over feeders hunting that is.) Starts slow then BAM.

Mission Trails Park Ranger reported to me last week that a big cat (Mtn. Lion) confronted a fella walking his dog on a trail near lake Kummeyay. He was able to scare the cat away by making himself big and loud. According to Ranger, dude pissed himself. I probably would also.... Ranger confirmed the report by tracks and said he has never seen so many tracks before.

That is a pretty nice kitty print. It seems like more sightings all the time.
Why the hell can't we hunt mountain lions in this state anymore?
It's such a shame. Their population is getting larger, especially near populated areas.

As a result the taxpayers via the DFG now pay professional hunters to kill "surplus" Mt. Lions. As opposed to recreational hunters paying to hunt and sometimes kill these same animals as part of a comprehensive management plan..." Enviro's" know best though! See MLPA..

I found a similar track a few weeks back. BIG...FRESH...and I couldn't get out of that area fast enough!

we cant hunt kittys because lonely hippies are cat people... "they are soooo pretty"... even though they will never see one.... ohhhh welll

the deer populations seem to be up this year....
more food for the kittys= more kittens

the cat issues are probably gonna get alot worse in the next few years

there was 2 differant doe kills in late august/ september by cats within 500 yards of eachother up in julian
