san jacinto wild life

I live in hemet and have NEVER hunted san jacinto wild life.Im curouse do they have any qauil out there? is it decent worth going out for a few shots 1 evening or?Im talking about that spot off to the right of ramona exp.way right before you get beside lake perris?

I think their is dove and quail. Don't know how good they do though, looks pretty crowded. I do know you have to pay though.

They have a check in station that provides maps of the area. The area on the NW side of the road is free to hunt. I hunted dove there a few weeks ago. Got one shot at a rabbit but the brush was thick. The SE side of the road is for duck hunting and you need to have a reservation and pay. Not sure on the quail. There is a private company in the same area that provides pheasant, quail and chukkar hunts for about $90.00
