man i forgot just how tough it is to deer hunt down that way. my dad and i took a trip into the lagunas one year when i was growing up in el centro, as the sun rose you could see the glint of gun barrels up & down the canyon. we bailed. my season here opens sat. (d-5). i'm pretty stoked but i don't put the out of town message on my machine until / unless the snow flies. my deal is trying to work the migration. you should see some of the monarchs that come out of the high country when it snows.
