Really you fucking moron? There are probably 1,000s of legal grow fields in CA. that don't get touched by the feds. Why? Because they are not abusing their rights and they keep their crops small and on private land. These legal grows have filed the propper paper work and aquired their Medical Mary Jane prescriptions. I would imagine that most of the Mexi Cartels running the show this side of the border are here illegaly, that makes them illegal immigrants. I don't imagine they would ever have their Medical Mary Jane cards either so that now makes a potential legal drug illegal. Just like prescription meds are illegal without the prescrip. Get it?
Sorry for misspelling conscience.

Wow! $300 million worth of free marijuana. Just think how much sales tax that would generate.....appx. $26 million, add a second tax akin to the cigarette tax and the numbers get bigger and bigger, plus the money you save by not having to send in law enforcement, removal crews etc.... The state should keep it and disperse it to the licensed vendors and collect the dough. Lease the public lands or have open bids like most concessions in/on public parks do, like logging and grazing permits etc...or we can just keep raising the sales tax, vehicle license fees, furlough days and layoffs. No, I'm not a fucking hippy (shudder), just someone tired of a 75 year old, archaic, racist-based and expensive law that should have never been passed in the first place, like prohibition.

the whole war on drugs thing as it relates to weed is a farce anyway. its pretending to fight this overwhelming foe at great expense and risk to personal safety. bullshit they are generating themselves a job and likely doing so (for the most part unknowingly i'm sure) to keep the price of that particular commodity high. what do you suppose would happen if they took oh say 1% of their erradication budget, harvested pollen from hemp that grows wild by the hundreds of acres across the midwest and spilled a sandwich bag of it in every feed store north of redding? whether you've got a doob there in the ash tray or not we are being robbed. moneys kinda tight right now how bout they put up or shut up?
