Have you tried putting the key in and turning it? Sorry.......had to ask. A picture of the lock would help.

If it's a cable type, you can cut it with almost anything, a butterknife and a hammer, hatchet, bolt cutter, tin snips, dikes, whatever.

This won't help much, but it is good info

See page 427 for Cal Royal, Don Jo, Ives finish descriptions.
INSTANT ACCESS -
This lock is very unique. When the gun owner has immediate possession or
control of their gun, the lock can be opened in 2 seconds without the use of a
key or combination. There is a special sequence required to open this lock.
Once the owner knows the special trick to open this lock, it is very easy to use.
Pro-Lok has demonstrated this feature at gun shows to thousands of gun owners,
media, law enforcement officials, locksmiths and gun manufacturer’s. The consensus
and response has been overwhelming when this feature is demonstrated.
Pro-Lok has baffled some of the best experts in the country. (Special sequence
is not shown here for security purposes). When the gun is not in your immediate
possession or control, the key is used to “key lock” the gun lock. Using the key disables the instant access feature. When
the key is used to “key lock” the lock, the special sequence then becomes an additional layer of deterrence. An unauthorized
user, without the knowledge of the instant access feature, is unlikely to quickly or easily open the lock. Using the key
is still very important. If you store your firearms in a safe, the dial must be spun to “lock” the safe. Using the key with this
lock is comparable to the need and responsibility of spinning the safe dial or locking the deadbolt on your front door.
ADDITIONAL PROTECTION -
Many gun owners want extra protection than provided by a traditional trigger or cable lock. If the key is found or stolen, a
typical trigger or cable lock is opened easily.
If the key is found or stolen for the GL650, the unauthorized user is unable to open the lock without the knowledge (or luck)
of the special sequence required to remove the lock. The special sequence provides an additional layer of deterrence in
the event access to the key is obtained.
WARNING: NEVER LEAVE THE LOCK IN THE INSTANT ACCESS FEATURE WHEN THE FIREARM IS NOT IN YOUR
IMMEDIATE POSSESION OR CONTROL. NEVER INSTALL THIS LOCK ON A LOADED FIREARM!!
