| M1 Garand from Big 5
I bought a Garand today from Big5 for 789$. I was surprised at the condition when I gave it a looking over. It was tight. The crown was in great shape and the bore looked good too. It was from the Springfield armory with all matching #"s. If anyone is looking for a Garand, go check them out at Big5.

Good price for a piece of our military history and a fairly good choice for civil defence and defending our constitution from enemies (yes, both foreign and domestic).

I love sticking the loaded clip in with my thumb and then pulling it out REAL fast before the action smashes it. Bitchin' rifles.

Mike,
The Big5 I bought mine at is down in ElCentro. They only had one but are ordering more. I am sure if you just ask, any store would order one for you if there isn't one on the rack. Good luck.

U.S. Rifle Cal .30 M1 Garand. Semi-automatic, Clip Loaded, Air Cooled, Gas Operated, Shouder Type Infantry Weapon. I love that rifle! A rifle designed by John Cantius Garand. The best auto-loader rifle of the Second World War.
This was the standard Infantry Rifle of the Philippine Army PMT/CAT back in the early 1970's before the Colt M16A1 was adopted. I remember being issued a Remington make. Beautiful stock. I particularly liked a rifle stamped "Match" near the receiver.
Eddie that will make a good rifle on board a boat. Does your rifle have the oiler and the Garand tool in the steel butt plate? Use FMJ boattails.... Best bullets for the M1.
