Lab Stud Needed

Looking for a papered Yellow or Black Male Labrador stud dog with a hunting background. My yellow bitch just came into heat today and is ready for action

. Seriously though she is a highly desired dog from Hightest Retrievers out of Orville Ca. with several feild champs and master hunters in her backgound on paper Hightest Retrievers of California - Training, Boarding and Breeding Center for Labrador Retrievers and Other Breeds

Kula has been in the feild since she was 3 months old and is an amazing retriever especially for waterfowl. This is her 4th heat and will be her first litter though I have raised several litters in the past with my former Lab. Pick of the litter prefered but I will pay a fee for the right dog. I don't Know if Sluesters dog(black lab) is fixed, but that is one of the best dogs I have seen.

Even though my dog is not a lab I think he can fulfill the desires your dog is experiencing...

Drew why a yellow with yellow?
Before I got Gunner I had a Black female named Dizzy. One hell of a retriever! I had about 4gs into her and she developed epilepsy at 3yrs. Put her on doggie downers. She eventually died in my arms while trying to get her to a vet one day. Broke my heart. After that I did a lot of research, talking to different breeders and found this wasn't all that uncommon. I was extremely surprised buy it. Two of the breeders told me that it seems more common in labs that are bred when one of them is not a black lab. They had no scientific proof but through 25-30 years of breeding they trended it.
Chocolate with cho, yellow with yellow type of thing. They said the dominant color is black and they had seen that mixing black with yellow and black with chocolate turned out healthier dogs?
This is just an FYI I'm not trying to change your mind.
I looked at Dizzies papers and saw that there were 2 times that yellow were bred with yellows.
I lost all the info about it when my old computer crashed. It took a lot of my time up to gather that stuff too.

I'd like to breed Gunner but I didn't send off for his papers...I guess I should. He's the best retriever I've had. His drive still amazes me at times. He's a machine.

Maybe you misread my post? It say's yellow or black. Kula's mom was black and she has many blacks in her background. Good info on the yellow to yellow. I have not heard that and I have had 4 yellow to yellow litters in the past with no issues thank god cause that would destroy me. Definitely looking for the papers since she came with a pricetag herself. You should still be able to get ahold of Gunners.
I'm really wanting to breed Kula now since pups would be ready around Thanksgiving and I will have her for hunting season this fall and her 3rd season should be fantastic.
Small world, I know of Widgnwhacker through a buddy of mine Ray Prothero up in Nor. Cal who I bought my first yellow bitch from and I've heard of Wyatt.

She has a legend in her background. "Lean Mac" was a National Feild Champion.

Cool. I was just giving a heads up. It only took once for me. It may never happen again and I hope nobody has to go through it. Pets are great but having a Hunting dog as a pet is just better.

I just have to send a way for Gunners. I have all the necessary info.

My English lab (Yellow) Bubba is ready to bang. He comes from the Lubberline ancestory and apparently is pretty special despite the fact that he just likes to eat, swim, and sleep all day.

Jaydog I also have an English male. He Sired 2 litters for me before I got him fixed a few years ago. He's a beautiful dog that threw great looking pups with that big fat head but he has no hunting instinct and he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer if you know what I mean. He's a great love-family dog though. The ironic thing is I named his ass hunter
