Need Help Please Quail hunting in Southern cal

Hey All,

I live in the OC / LA area, and usually I make the drive to hunt Arizona or the trek to New Mexico. I just can't believe there are no sopts to hunt locally. Any input would seriously be appreciated. I have 3 good dogs so the terrain doesn't matter. Thanks everyone for all your help.

I live in Anaheim. We should hook up a few times this summer and do some walking.

I've had good luck with the quail at Jawbone Canyon up off the 14, not exactly close but not nearly as far as AZ and NM. Rough terrain and OHV folks to deal with but I've never had any issues.

Try the Blythe area. Great quail hunting in areas near the river. If in town look me up always ready to shoot birds.
