Reloading Ammo....

Ok guys who here reloads in the San Diego area? Reason I ask is, I would like to have some shells reloaded but don't want to buy all the shit to get started(press and dies). I will buy the casings, powder, bullets and the primers. I want to have 100-200 of the exact same rounds loaded(.243).

We have run almost 100 rounds through the new gun I bought Dad. Now she should be broke in pretty good. So we want to get sighted in on one Ammo and keep firing the same stuff.

If you have a reloader and could help a brother out let me know what you need in return( money, fishing trips, whatever). Thanks, Jim

Dbar,
I have a single stage press, it goes slow but it is precise. I get back off the Indy on the 5th. PM me then and I'd be happy to hook you up. You would just have to get the components you want to use, a shell holder, a die set and were off.

Michael

Thanks Mike,
I was trying to avoid buying the dies. If I buy them I probably will just get a press too and do it myself.

Anyone already reload .243 rounds around here?????

Is there a specific bullet you are looking to shoot that's not available as a commercial load? With a small lot like that, you could just get factory ammo from the same lot. Federal Premium or other higher end ammo is not bad for that amount.

Nosler ballistic tip 95 grain spitzer's..... I can get all of the stuff (brass, bullets, primer and powder)to load them for less than a buck each. Premium shells are around two bucks each. 200 rounds equals a nice price differance, Like enough for a down payment on the next gun.

Noslers 95 gr BT is a great bullet I shoot it in my .243 I would suggest you buy a few box's of factory ammo sight it in and then go to the gun show and buy reloading stuff each rifle shoots different It would be a waste of time to custom reload 200 rounds and find that they didn't group good in your rifle I don't know how much shooting your Dad will do so you would be better off just using a good factory load any info I can give you e-mail me just.stan@cox.net I live in Flynn springs just west of Alpine Stan
