usually deep water blinds on wister are the corner blinds of an area. there are more in the north end of wister than the south. in terms of going by yourself, and hunting shallow blinds the south is your best bet. also the parking for the blinds in the south area are easier to find and the walks to the blind are simpler. opening day without a draw is not the best. a few weeks after opening day you should be able to get on with a no show or you could get on with a walk on the day you are hunting.
