California Hunting associations

I know here in Oregon we have Oregon Hunter Association who work to protetc our rights ,do you have anything like that in California ? ,why I`am asking this,it has to do with the lead ban use for hunting ,it amazes me on how some junk science has banned lead bullits and there was little representation for hunters that I`am aware of ,is anyone fighting to lift this ban or is it just here for good ,also this scares me because alot of BS trckles up here and even though most of my big guns use Barnes bullets ,my rim fire guns use lead bullets ,just curious

I'm not sure about big game, as I mostly waterfowl, but on the ducky side of the house we have the CWA or California Waterfowl Association and the Delta Waterfowl Association which are both excellent stewards of the resource in California. Those guys work their tails off for us hunters and consistanly protect our rights and provide habitat for the sport what so many of us love....

Fortunately, us duck hunters had to jump the lead hurtle over 20 years ago, and it wasn't such a huge leap because of the different ballistic characteristics of shot shells vs. centerfire and especially rimfire ammo. The rimfire problem seems to be the the toughest one to cope with at the moment because of the lack of suitable alternatives...

CDA, the California Deer Association. I just don't know the extent of their involvement with the lead ban issue.
