If it's not a repost then you sure get shot at a alot

On 2/14 you posted this with the same title no less

"Scoped while hunting and being shot at"

"Ok I was scoped last year ( scoped so jack ass looking at you through his rifle scope ),well I know he saw me ,but then soon after he saw me his group began a volley of rounds for one deer ,I was forced to hit the deck ,while bullits flew close enough by ,for me to hear them ,and now I got a hunting violation report ,from the fish and game dept where I was hunting ,I believe they are claming I shot at them ,because when the deer they missed came over in my veiw where it was a safe shot ,stay tuned ,I`am sure there will be more ,I did not put specifics for more info from fish and game department"

Growing up in Nebraska on my family's farm, I got used to hunting with no one within a mile of us. Not only would I be pissed if I saw someone hunting, I'd immediately go tell them to leave.

Different story out here in CA. First time I went dove hunting out here with my wife's relatives, I was shocked when I saw people set up within 10 yards of me. It wasn't uncommon to have pellets coming down all around you. Granted, you can't really compare shotgun pellets coming down on you to a high-power rifle bullet.

Regardless, I would've gone over and gave them a good ass-chewing for glassing you with their scope, then firing anywhere close to your direction after they knew you were there. It gets a little scary though if tempers flare and everyone is obviously armed.

The only time I had a run-in like that, we were deer hunting on a family friends farm, when a guy that rented a house adjacent to the land we were hunting on came over to us and started yelling that this was his hunting land. I knew it wasn't and told him that I had just talked to the owner and gotten permission, he still thought he was right so I called the owner on my cell and handed it to him. He was pretty embarassed when he had to admit to the owner he'd been hunting on the land without permission.
