plucking turkeys

hey just wanted to know how do you guys pluck your turkeys? i was taught to fill a 5 gallon bucket or 55 gallon drum with boiling water then dip the bird in by sections plucking as you go (it helps if someone dips or plucks) anyway the whole thing takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes and it makes plucking all of the feathers really easy.

Turkeys aren't that tough to just pluck the old fashioned way by hand. By the time you get all that water boiling, you would have already been done. Just grab a handful of feathers and get after it.

I like the water method just because they pull clean. Some people I know just skin them.
