Had some fun this morning 3 Mean Greens and a Susie. COLD! 18 degrees at 1/2 hr before sunrise (the pipes at my house froze) but the Mallards were cooperating nicely.

I missed a few opportunities and should of had a limit due to an overly excited pup that jumped in the water BEFORE I shot a couple times but it's all good. I couldn't be more tickled especially since I'm shooting waterfowl in the middle of the desert.

Kula is 9 months now and she retrieved all of these back to hand. We just gotta work a little on the "STAY" command.

Over the hump to Pahrump huh??!! I guess there is somthing to do out there! Ive only seen that place in the summer hotter then hell!!! no really the real hell. there is 1 bloodydecker out there tho.

Yep it can get pretty hot and really cold but stays on average 10 degrees cooler than Vegas year round. With over 30 birds this year, this the best year I have had on waterfowl but quail, rabbit and dove have always been pretty good.
