utah deer hunt

wow our group got drawn for utah .i havnt hunted deer in 30yrs. my brothers talked me into aplying so we can take dad on the last great hunt back to where he used to go in the 60s.
they have been going evey year; but to colorado . and felt it was important we all make this last trip.
now i have to find a left handed rifle.
i am stoked...........

Definitely go and have a great time with your family but I sure hope your dad isn't expecting hunting like it was in the 60's. I could elaborate but I don't want to discourage you.

near rock candy mountian they went there in 98 last. its not about the deer as much as the trip.seven of us are are going. my dad and his brother[ my uncle,] and the boys. getting a deer is just proof we went hunting........

I hunted a few years ago south of Moab. I did not get one, but the country was absolutely beautiful. Had a great time anyway, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

thanks everyone. my three brothers have been pushing me to go for 5 years. this is thier first trip back to utah in7years and my dads last. going to start using the wifes treadmill to get into better shape . guess i will miss the duck season opener
