No elk so said fuck it and went to a meadow to cal. Right as we get there we see a cow at about 700 yard. While they bugled Blake said pick one so I did and shot a cow at 265 yards. She went down from my 30-06 Rem. 180 grain less then 20 yards from my last shot. We gutted and skinned her and left it hanging. As we come back we see that there is a problem. OH! FUCK!! We see two sets of tracks and two Cougars having lunch. After shooting and tagging two Cougars (no pics) we took home the backstraps. |
Thanks for sharing, I remember my first hunt. You owe me fifteen minutes

Yeah, the hunt sounds good to me. Nice job! The only thing bad about that story was the spelling, grammar and lack of punctuation.

That post blew up my decoder ring so I'm still a little confused. He shot an elk and 2 cougars right? I'd sacrifice some elk meat to shoot 2 lions anyday. Sounds pretty good to me.
