Last minute chucker trip 1-26-05

Went out for chucker today with my dad and his friend Hank. Hank has never shot a chucker before so he really wanted one. It was tuff hunting today. The wind was ripping out there today making it very hard to find the birds. We ended up finding 2 small coveys (10-15 birds each). I ended up with 4 hank got 2 and my dad got zip. He only had one good shot (it took off at his feet) but missed it.

sweet, we are down to our last couple of days to hunt, I have yet to even see a chucker. I find quail, even those where I hunt are a bitch to get, with the high brush.

Nice Jeff.

Gene you won't see chucker where you hunt. You have to go north.

You'd better stop posting these chucker reports if you don't take the infamous snow goose guide, KID CREOLE, with you once in a while. :104167739
