Sean,
No dog here but we need to get out and kill some birds. I'm working on some dates for a goose shoot. PM me and we can figure it out.

Re: For you upland hunters

WTG Steph, awesome!!!

I heard there were a shitload of mother fuckers at Red Mountain, most of which got birds....or got shot.

At least it kept the birds moving.

I'm committed to getting out this year.Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to more of your sweet trip reports as the season kicks into full swing.

Re: For you upland hunters

Hey guys I was a long ways from Red Mt., I don't like crowds at all! I try to shoot areas where most people wouldn't dare hunt. This area usually holds more birds but it had enough to get it done. I'll be back at weds, the goal is 100 chukar this year, 6 down 94 to go!!!!

P.S. I have 2 of about 6 huntable blinds in the back of the lake.......... till the water comes back in mid Nov.
Seems they dropped it lower than some expected, & they weren't in spots that held

Y,

We hunt quite a ways from the Mojave River, chukar like steep, rugged terrain, I'll take the digital camera on the hike with me to give you some idea on the terrain, when we were up on the hill my white Ford looked like a grain of rice, 45 minute climb!
