Went out today...

...and saw 18 doe and 2 small forkies.

We did happen across a nice natural pool that should have been attracting deer but the sign was scarce. I think this weather coming through should kick things up a notch or two.

The wind was NO JOKE on the hill! (so we went elsewhere)

Anyone ever seen these? (Gary?)

I'll settle for seeing one of those doe on Sunday....

I was working up there today Jim, and it started blowing about 11 AM. Came home around 12:45, and almost got blown off the Pine Valley bridge in my Tahoe....

I've never seen those. I've seen some similar rock formations w/ water in the Indian Flats area. I'll never forget that because I almost fell to my death that day! F'n rocks are slippery!

Stay on that waterhole. As the rut heats up the bucks will be running hard and will need to drink more often. Nice spot!

That's what was weird. It usually has plenty of deer in the area.

Is there a chance that all of the sign was on/in that grass leading down to the water? I'm sure you guys know what you are looking for but it looks like a really good spot to me.
