Went out this morning and didn't see anything until about 9:00. Ended up seeing 2 doe on one hill and 3 on another. That's it...

I'll try and instigate some duck reports.....
My buddy went to Wister and drew 109th in the sweatline.....Limited on skeeters and went home...

hunted the pond near the salton sea with the boat and had the worst opener ever. first the motor wouldnt start so we had to push pole to an area to set up. we ended up with zero birds. there were alot of other boats on the water and there were just no birds down yet. oh well. maybe another few more weeks.

yeah we heard a fair amount of shooting from wister, but not like the last three years. the sea was dead silent. talkd to a few guys that drove out to scope the pond and they got nothing at wister. most

for the 5-6 boats that were out there including us, everyone was quitting by 10
